Advice fees

Just like your clients, we appreciate and value your hard work and believe that you should be rewarded for your efforts.

Sunsuper members can allow a financial adviser to deduct an advice fee from their Sunsuper account if the advice services provided meet the sole purpose test requirements of the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act 1993. To learn more about the types of advice that Sunsuper considers to meet the sole purpose test see Payment of fees and FAQ’s below.

Register as an adviser

To enable an advice fee to be paid, financial advisers first need to register as an adviser.

How to request an advice fee

Complete the following:

  • an advice fee request form [PDF 171KB] signed by yourself and the member, along with;
  • a copy of the invoice for the advice services provided to the member (address the invoice to “Sunsuper Pty Ltd as Trustee of the Sunsuper Superannuation Fund”).

Once completed, please email the required documentation to adviser_services@sunsuper.com.au or post them to:

Sunsuper, Reply Paid 2924, Brisbane Qld 4001.
