What is superannuation?

Superannuation in Australia (or super) is a way to save money while you're working so you can retire well. It's a long-term savings plan.

By law, your employer must pay money into your super fund for you. Then your fund invests it to help it grow. You can add extra, too. The sooner you start, the more you'll have for retirement.
