Option profile: The option is a long-term (more than 10 years) portfolio designed to provide:
• returns over the long term which are significantly
ahead of inflation; with
• moderate to high levels of volatility in the returns
from year to year.
Primary performance objective: Real return above inflation of 5.0% p.a. after investment fees and taxes.
Expected outcomes:
• Returns after investment fees and taxes over periods of 5 to 7 years that are above the median of similar superannuation funds.
• Positive returns expected in 4 out of 5 years.
