Investment in: A diversified mixture of assets, with an emphasis on Australian shares and international shares.
Style: Active investment management.
Option profile: The option is a long-term (5 to 10 years) portfolio designed to provide:
• returns over the long term which are well ahead of
inflation; with
• moderate levels of volatility in the returns from year to year.
Primary performance objective: Returns after investment fees and taxes over periods of 5 to 7 years above the median of similar superannuation funds.
Expected outcomes:
• Real return above inflation of 4.0% p.a. after investment fees and taxes.
• Positive returns expected in 6 out of 7 years.
