Single v multi manager
Single manager options have a single investment manager and are designed for investors who prefer the style of a particular manager.
Multi manager options use a combination of investment managers within the one investment option, providing diversification across investment managers and reducing the risk of exposure to any one investment manager or style.
The Sunsuper Managed options are multi manager options.
Some of the other investment options, such as those offered by AMP Capital and QIC may also be multi manager. These managers are responsible for developing and maintaining their asset allocation and manager mix according to their own investment philosophy and objectives.
