At Sunsuper, we make super, super simple. That means you can look after your business while we look after your super.
Joining Sunsuper as a participating employer is simple. Firstly, download the Employer guide, or call our Customer Service Team on 13 11 84 and ask for one to be sent to you.
If you are paying for an existing Sunsuper member and prefer not to join (i.e. become a participating employer) you can choose to be an unregistered employer.
Once you have a copy of the Employer guide, here's what you need to do:
We offer a range of payment methods to help you look after your superannuation needs. A payment method is a combination of your contribution option and your payment option.
Monthly or quarterly payment frequencies are available. All you need to do is pick the payment method and frequency that best suits your business.
Fill in your Employer application. If you choose to use Employer Online, please make sure you also fill in the Employer Online Webpay form.
You also need to complete the member section of the Participating employer application, providing details for the first employee you will be paying contributions for. Details of any additional members can be provided using the Contribution return.
Provide the Sunsuper Member guide to your employees and collect their completed Membership application forms to send in with your first contribution payment.
If your new employees are already members of Sunsuper, a completed application form is not essential - just provide their Sunsuper membership number with your first payment.
You can pay your first contribution immediately or wait until after your application form has been processed. Please be aware of your Superannuation Guarantee (SG) deadlines.
Return all the forms to Sunsuper. If you have decided to make an immediate payment, please include a cheque payable to Sunsuper Pty Ltd.
If your employee(s) wish to transfer their super from another fund, they will need to complete and return a Super Transfer form. Once we get that completed form, we'll do the rest of the work for them.
