Important information about Webpay
Webpay is an easy way to pay your superannuation contributions to Sunsuper. It is a self-initiated direct debit facility through your bank, building society or credit union account.
- Each time you make a payment, you authorise Sunsuper to debit your account. We cannot debit your account unless you have requested us to do so.
- You will be able to make payments at a time convenient to you.
- There will be faster and more accurate allocation of contributions to members accounts.
- Once you activate the Webpay facility, it will automatically provide you with a receipt number as proof of payment.
- The time delay in posting payments is removed.
- It will be easier for you to meet the 30 June deadline (if you want to receive a tax deduction for your June contribution) and the quarterly Superannuation Guarantee Charge deadlines.
- Postage of cheques will no longer be required.
- Terminating employees will have quicker access to their accounts - due to direct depositing and clearing of contributions plus automated notification to terminating employees when actioned by you.
The direct debit facility is provided by most financial institutions - please check with your bank, building society or credit union that this facility is available.
